I wear a size 9, and the contrast with the black and white made it look like I was wearing clown shoes. The shoe turns up a little at the end. I returned them. I must say, that they were the most comfortable darn shoes I have ever worn, and was tempted to keep them, but they looked ridiculous on me. Even my four year old and seven year old did not not them on me. I really think that if my foot were small, they would look good. Maybe the tan would not have looked bad, but the black did.

Consnot really a sneaker its a flat
These are very cute. A faux sneaker, however. The laces don't actually function, they are more like ballerina flats that look like sneakers. But comfy and cute.

Constight elastic
The shoe is very cute, however, I was not aware that the laces on the shoes are only for decorative purposes. The shoe actually is a slip on with fuschia elastic around the opening of the shoe. The elastic is a little tight and leaves a mark on my ankle if I wear them too long. I am hoping the elastic will loosen up over time to make them more comfortable for a longer time period. Other than the elastic they are an extremely comfortable shoe.
