The shoe was tight where the buckle is. I'm trying to stretch it out with socks. The box came without a lid so I feared having trouble returning it without a lid. It looks nice but fit is tight

This is my second pair and they are SUPER but do run narrow. Usually buy 8 medium but had to get these in wide. Once they get broken in they are very comfortable. Used them for a trip to Europe and was able to walk all day in them!
