I have never purchased a wide width shoe in my life. I typically order a narrow or medium width depending on the style of the shoe. I ordered medium width in the Maude and can barely get my foot in the shoe. SUPER NARROW! I plan to return and order a wide.

I purchased a normal width even though I wear a narrow based on other reviews. That made the toe box area fit well. However, the middle part of the shoe feels loose and while the heal fits fine now, if it stretches I know that soon the shoe will want to fly off my foot. That being said, I like the design and the comfort level is good. They look very nice. I think that when a shoe is cut high on the toe line you can expect there to be pressure at the base of the big toe so if you have any bumps or sensitive joints you may want to stay away from that type of design. I purchased and returned more shoes than usual trying to find a good fit. Not sure if it is my foot or Naturalizer not being consistent in their sizing.
