these are cute and comfy. However, the design of this pair is defective. the design on the right shoe does not line up properly. Hopefully the store will have another pair so I can exchange, otherwise I will have to return. The defective design is what made me rate quality as poor.

This shoe is stylish and fairly comfortable. I've had many compliments just within the first few days of wearing them. Love the two-toned leather. Still in the process of breaking them in, so hopefully in a few weeks they'll be a little more form fitting, as for now there are places that pinch a bit.

Shoe expertise:I shop for shoes when I need something specific.
I wear size 81/2 W. These shoes are a perfect fit, excellent padding and the sides and top of the shoe are extremely comfortable. I need tie up shoes for support. These fit the bill. The other tie up shoes that I have gotten from Naturalizer have been very comfortable, but these are very comfortable and stylish. Naturalizer hit a home run with the Hampshire. I ordered the brown/tan ones. I plan to order the black ones, too.

These shoes are as beautiful in person as they were in the catalog. However, they are narrower than usual, so I'll have to exchange them for another size.
