Proscomfortable

These boots are very comfortable and they are easy to pull on and off. The color is rich and the leather is soft and feels good to the touch.

Nice boots, but even wide calf is too narrow

Prosstylish, good traction

Consshaft too small

Used to be I could depend on Naturalizer's wide calf boots to fit my calves right out of the box. And not that long ago either. The Johanna boots are great-looking (except for the elastic gore down the whole length), good quality, with a comfortable insole, and I could JUST close the zipper. But that required stuffing and squishing my upper calf and it felt like my circulation was cut off after a minute. My muscular calves are 17 inches. The boot has elastic gores and an adjustable buckle at the calf, and maybe after consistent wear it would loosen up, but that's just not good enough for me anymore. No way would they fit over jeans either.
I strongly suggest that Naturalizer begin making an Extra-Wide Calf fit, instead of depending on stiff elastic gores to do the stretching. It looks cheap, too.
I would recommend the style to someone with smaller calves who doesn't mind elastic.
