Due to the size of my foot - Very 8N ! - it is necessary for me to order through catalogs or on line; therefore, it's the luck of the draw as to whether or not the shoes I receive will fit well. The Jayda sandal is almost perfect, but not quite. It's a bit wide/high in the straps but fits well enough that I will gladly keep them. They are very comfortable.
The clog-type boat shoes I ordered I also kept - because I needed them desperately - but they are quite wide. In the winter time I will be able to enjoy them when wearing socks to take up the extra space.
The striped/plain strap sandals I ordered were great looking but so big I had to return them.
It seems as if shoes manufactured outside the USA are not quite up to par, size-wise. An 8N manufactured in the US used to fit my foot to perfection. Pretty soon I'm going to have to tie a ribbon on my big toes and call it good!!
