I love, love, love the style and versatility of this shoe. After reading other reviews that said this shoe tended to run narrow, I went with the wide version of my size, but it is a little too wide. As much as I love and want to wear these shoes every day, it has been very difficult trying to break them in. I've tried everything from standing in a bucket of water to leather softener to wearing them around the house with thick alpaca socks on, and still a month later I have to wear at least two bandaids on the backs of my ankles to prevent chafing (and even then, the shoes scrape the bandaids off, so I have to keep replacing bandaids all day). For something I had hoped would be an easy, comfortable, summer sandal, they have been frustratingly high maintenance.

Stiff & Uncomfortable

Conschafes, stiff, small to size.
I wore these shoes for the first time yesterday. Unfortunately, I now have blisters on both heels. By the time I got home, I could hardly walk in them. They are so stiff and appear to run small for the size. I wish I hadn't worn them because I would like to return them.
They are pretty shoes but I would not recommend them because of the stiffness.
