The shoe is great with one exception. The location of the strap across the big toe rubs a blister on each foot. Otherwise very comfortable.

Great walking sandals!

Proscomfortable, versatile, stylish, cushioning
I bought these for an upcoming Road Scholar/Elderhostel New York City trip which Road Scholar describes as "moderately active," with walking up to 5 miles a day. These sandals arrived a couple of days ago, so I thought I'd try them out by walking about four miles around my suburban neighborhood, at about a 20-minutes-per-mile pace. I did not wear socks.
They are wonderful. After the walk, on hard concrete sidewalks for the most part, my feet felt totally fine - not sore at all, and no "break-in blisters" at all. I'm planning to buy a second pair, because these perform so well. I'm 64 and overweight, so I was really impressed at how well these worked for me.
In addition, they look good. Not too bulky. They look good with shorts and pants, although they clearly are not something I'd wear to the opera or similar. The Velcro adjustable tabs stay secure and are easy to adjust.

Great purchase. Adjustable straps really allow or sevute fit. Will be great mwith ctops and jeans.
