Laces aren't functional

Consshaft too large, poor laces design
The laces on this boot stop 2" below the top of the boot. I have narrow calves, so I rely on laces to pull the boot shaft tight. That was completely impossible on this boot. Since the laces stopped two inches below the top, there was a big gap at the top where cold air and snow would enter. A pretty boot, but I had to return it because they were completely useless.

I haven't gotten to wear them yet. The heel is a little too snug. I need to have them stretched out a bit. I'm sure they will be comfy, as naturalizer shoes are, and will keeps feet warm.
