Watch out for the color ordered the Taupe and think the wrong color was sent they look more greenish.

I really like these boots. The malt color turned out to be a little different than I had expected, but I actually like the real color better (it's a little more grey and less yellow than in the picture) and goes with everything. I might add a cushiony insole because the sole is pretty thin. And they need to be broken in, because the ankle rubs against my Achilles and hurts after a while. But overall I'm very pleased.

Consdifficult to clean
I purchased two pairs of this style one in the taupe and black. They were comfortable from the first time wearing them. They look great with jeans or cords.Nice casual shoe!

Proscomfortable, versatile
I call them desert boots because that is what they were called back in the day. I went up a half size to an 8 1/2. They are a little big but a heavier sock will fill it in. They are very comfortable and quite wide. I've been wearing them everyday. I may come back and purchase the black.
