Constoo stiff, mid calf length hits in wrong spot
Mid calf length didn't work out; might have been better if it were a shorter Boots material too stiff. Couldn't get zippers on side to zip down.

Prosgood traction, easy to put on, stylish
I'm not usually a boot kind of gal but I ordered these in black because they looked great in the catalog, and I figured it would be good to have a pair of boots while traveling back east next month.
I still think they look great, but do be aware there is a dark brown/black fabric "piping" (not sure of the word) that comes up about 1/8" from under the part of the boot near the belt. This piping is unfinished, so I'm not sure if it will end up curling or fraying under daily use. It doesn't look bad at all - I just hadn't noticed it in the picture.
Also, for what it's worth, my calves are kind of skimpy (14.5" around) but these boots (7.5 medium) fit well without being too loose.
In my opinion, the "black" is more of a rich brown-black. Again, not bad, just not what I expected. It looks great with jeans though.
I recommend these as a a good, seemingly well-made pair of boots if you are looking for an alternative to leather. (I believe they are man-made material). It remains to be seen how they will hold up in rain and snow, but they fit well and look nice.

I got these boots for their style (not too high, not too short), heel height.... overall, they are very versatile and comfortable - I wore them for the first time on errands all about town and was quite pleased. I only wish they were real leather. They don't look cheap, but I prefer leather.
