I have 'athletic calves' as I work out a lot. These wide calf boots were perfect..not too snug around the calf at all. I even had a little bit of room which never happens in regular calf boots! Out of the box they were very stiff in the foot, but I wore them around the house for an hour or so and they loosened up very nicely--I guess that happens with real leather. Now they are my favorite boot!!

Proswide calf
Boots are extremely comfortable and wide calf is perfect fit. The boots have 2 zippers on each boot, one on the side and in the back for looks. Love the length.
