"The dawson is a ood quality shoe but the color was slightly dull.i was expecting a rich gold hue but it was too muted.it definitely looks better online .Retuning this one."

"I am hugely disappointed in this shoe. I have only worn them twice, but will be donating them to Goodwill. The toe section from the decorative stripe to the tip has "puckered", looks just terrible..."

"I love the look of the shoe, but unfortunately the instep is too tight and makes the shoe almost impossible for me to wear (possibly because of the cushioning inside the shoe). I was surprised because usually, it's quite easy for me to find shoes that fit well. I will have to return them."

"I bought this pair of shoes based on the excellent reviews. I am glad I did!
I agree with other reviewers who said that you need to break in these shoes before they're super comfortable. I wore mine for about two days before they softened up and I was able to wear them with bare feet indefinitely. In fact, now that they're broken in, I can wear them all day, walking everywhere, and still be thrilled with these shoes.
I love the detailing and it fits me like a glove. It is very flattering for my larger (size 11) feet and I would recommend these to anyone and everyone!
My only concern is that it seems that the detailing on the heel (the wood-esque stripes) have started to peel a bit after several days of use. I also see that there are a few spots where the glue holding the sole and the upper together seems to have come apart a bit, mainly on the back of the heel. It's hardly noticeable and not enough to really worry me, but enough to mention as a reason to only give 4/5 quality.
Just remember, give them a day or two to soften up (break in) when you first get them!"

"These looked great and are true to size, but due to the decoration across the top, it takes a day of wearing them to stretch them some across the "big" toe bone area on your foot. They never caused any sore, and now are broken in, but for me it seemed it took a day. The cushion is great underneath. I really like the color and look, and they go with a lot of neutrals. Not too golden, but khaki-like. Glad I got them!"
