"I got this pair of boots today, I found out these are too big for me after I put them on. Most of the time I can wear 8M or 8W if wide width is available, I ordered 8W wide shaft for comfortable reason, the boots size is like 1 inch longer, the boot width is fine, the wide shaft feels a bit tight around my calf (mine is 16 inch around). I like the boots, just need to exchange a smaller size, I am thinking 7.5W or even 7W since they are so long.."

Cons: the zipper is stiff.

"I was very disappointed with these boots. I ordered a 9 wide, my normal size, and they were about 1.25 inches too long. The area around the ankle is also bulky. The shaft fit fine. Unfortunately I have to return them and wouldn't reorder because I'm not sure what size to purchase."

"Boots received in bad condition, scratches everywhere on both and a dark mark near the heal of one. Left boot was very tight. It seemed like it was worn and been toss back into the box with no coverings. Very dissappointed!"

"Even though these boots are called "wide shaft", the ankles are still too small for me to get these zipped. The upper part of the boot that is wide is OK, but the ankle section seems to be that of a regular size boot, not wide shaft. Not everyone who has a large calf still has skinny ankles."

"Very cute and they fit my calf which I sometimes have trouble with. Other reivews said to order a half size up because they are really narrow but I didn't really need the extra size, they are a little narrow but not bad. They don't have much support on the bottom but now I have room for an insert. Love having a cute flat boot to wear."
