After 6 cracked/broken ribs, I realized I was falling from "good luck" hammer toes. Not wanting a bunionectomy, I had the tendons in the second toes, each foot, severed (painless!). Then I bought these sandels. The stability of the soles, the sculpted footbeds, and the security of the velcro straps have given me my best, at times normal, walking in four to five years. They clean up well - I even wear them working in the yard. No complaints at all. I wish I had found them years ago - so much wasted time and pain from walking incorrectly. The gel heel pad has made a difference in my hip pain. I love them.
This is the third pair of these sandals that I have purchased. I have 2 pair of black and 1 taffy colored. A great walking sandal. So comfortable I can wear them all day. They are sporty but still stylish!
